Thirty-five years ago today, KPCW gave residents of Summit and Wasatch counties the first radio station built and broadcasting just for them .
Thank you to all our listeners, founders, contributors, volunteers, staff and local businesses who have supported the station over the years and shaped it into a gem that reflects its community on an unrivaled leveled in the country.
We'll continue to celebrate 35 years of serving the public all summer long with live remotes, live concerts, local news, relevant traffic reports and weather as well as hundreds of local voices in interviews, as show hosts and in music.
Later this summer, KPCW and Cole Sportwill throw a "Back Alley Birthday Bash", time and place to be announced soon.
